Mind Matter I took a stroll Inside this dark, dank labyrinth of my mind Puddle jumping into the deep recess of my psyche Slipping, sliding through its crooked cracks I found a man in black Eyes sizzling red "May I help you child?" Accent thick and rich Like  the first bite of the fresh, forbidden fruit "How can I find my way through this wild?" A smirk crawls across his juicy lips "Silly girl you are not the world; simply a piece of it." He leaves Locking me into this cycle of insanity

Leaf Crisp, cool Cracks to the touch Its veins dry Sucked of all life's sweet energy Painted, red, orange, yellow Makes me wonder Frozen in time yet colored with such fevering passion What mother nature is really all about

Fire An energy ignites Like stone on stone Within causing my passion To scream with delight My inner consciousness Itches with endless raw energy I feel the need to create And to destroy To destroy This wasteland In my heart To make something Beautiful Bloom out of these ashes

His hands were caked with dried mud. His name was Tod. Tod's  nose was dripping of white salty gooey snot.
